Contract for New Version of PuertoRicoTrabaja.com
eSolutions has been retained to launch version 2 of the job-matching site PuertoRicoTrabaja.com. This version was developed earlier this year but had to wait until complementary operational procedures were in place. The interaction between employeers and candidates has been significantly streamlined and more placements are expected. The job bank and the talent bank both have counts of thousands. The launch date has been set for mid September.

Technical Article Published
The renowned SQL Server site, sqlservercentral.com, today published a technical article by our President, Dr. Adolfo J. Socorro. The article is called The Semantics of NULL in SQL Server 2008 and is an introduction to the meaning and treatment of null values in queries.

eSolutions will work on new OPPHLA Site
The Speech Pathology and Audiology Society of Puerto Rico (know in Spanish as Organización Puertorriqueña de Patología del Habla Lenguaje y Audiología, has contracted eSolutions and its web design partner C&F Solutions, to revamp its web site and add functionality for member registration and renewal, and for workshop registration. The site will link with PayPal for processing payments and will include an administrative module.

Contract Renewal at the State Elections Commission
The State Elections Commission (SEC) of Puerto Rico has contracted our President, Dr. Adolfo J. Socorro, for another year as Special Advisor to the President of the SEC and his representative at the Technology Advisory Board. The Board oversees all technology projects at the SEC, and this year will continue to work on implementing electronic voting for the 2012 election and with revamping the entire telecommunications infrastructure at the SEC, among other projects.

HPPTS goes live!
eSolutions is pleased to announce that the Healthcare Professionals Payment Tracking System, a Silverlight application built for GlaxoSmithKline of Chile, launched today. HPPTS is a Silverlight application that promises to bring uniformity and visibility to promotional and educational medical events and expenditures. HPPTS tracks a wide range of information, including speakers and sponsored invitees and their travel and lodging arrangements, line-item cost tracking of planned versus actual expenditures, and brand sponsorship. It also automates approval processes, includes email alerts, and provides a series of aggregate and statistical reports, all within a modern and user-friendly graphical interface.

The concept for HPPTS borrowed ideas from a similar system built by eSolutions for GlaxoSmithKline of Puerto Rico, called the Speakers Tracking System. In the GlaxoSmithKline World Congress of Medical Directors in 2006, STS was selected among the top three worldwide projects and recognized with a Special Award.

HMISLive! User Meeting
Along with partner Dyteks Consulting Group, eSolutions will be participating in the first HMISLive! User Meeting, to be held in San Juan, Puerto Rico on June 24. HMISLive! is a homeless management system built following the Housing and Urban Development Agency's data standards and currently in use all over Puerto Rico. Contract renewal
eSolutions has been sub-contracted once again to provide software design, development, technical support services to the Department of Labor of Puerto Rico. Over the years, we have built several enterprise solutions for them and this renewal will bring a series of improvements and new modules to all of these systems.
