This system is being built for a major food distributor and implements a set of business rules to decide in which truck to place a customer order for delivery.  It considers geographical area, weight, volume, number of delivery stops, and profit.

Users may browse full information about truck loads, including the order of delivery stops, the clients being delivered to, and the details of orders.

The business rules may be adjusted using customization screens, and knowledgeable users may override decisions made automatically by the system. 

This system runs in an intranet and is being built using MS Front Page, MS Visual Interdev, MS VBScript, MS Visual Basic, MS SQL Server, and Ingres (from Computer Associates).
